ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE FOR CANCER

As of right now, use of complementary and alternative medicine in treating cancer is still in uncharted waters- there are many unproven practices and theories when it comes to treating cancer with alternative medicine methods. Although, some studies have proven that certain remedies can actual decrease a patient's anxiety, help manage their pain and other side effects from mainstream treatments for cancer. But some pains can't be threaten cause there are illnesses that doesn't have to do that much with cancer itself, for example Cancer and Ehec doesn't go that well together when it comes to the treatment with medicals.

More research is required before any alternative medicine method can be touted as a "cure for cancer."

In treating cancer, alternative methods are used alone- without using any mainstream cancer treatments available. Complementary medicine, in this instance, is usually used in conjunction with mainstream medical practices to help counteract the side effects of the mainstream medical practices. And, a rapidly developing method of treating cancer alternatively, is to use integrative medicine. Intergrative medicine in the treatment of cancer includes using already proven alternative methods along with mainstream medical practices for the treatment of cancer- this means ensuring the patient's total physical, emotional and mental health to have the brightest prognosis possible.
